Khalaf Khalofov: â€œThe international organizations must put pressure upon Armenia to allow fact-finding mission to the occupied territories of Azerbaijanâ€

â€œWe always raise the facts related to investigation of the processes in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan at the level of international organizations. It is clear that the occupied territories are uncontrolled and Armenians engage in illegal activities in these uncontrolled territories. Many times we informed the international organizations about the intensification of drug trafficking and smuggling there. We informed the international organizations that Armenians are planting and producing drugs in the occupied territories. And therefore the international organizations must be very attentive to this issueâ€.

Khalafov said Azerbaijan was always raising the issue of organizing fact-finding mission. â€œTaking the complex character of this issue into consideration, there is no significant progress there, but Azerbaijan is doing necessary work to inform the international community. The international organizations must intensify their activity to increase its usefulness. They must put pressure upon Armenia to allow the representatives of the fact-finding mission to the occupied areas. The visits to the occupied territories can be only with sanction of Azerbaijan. We can support the international activity towards this. The presence of Armenians in the occupied territories promote the drug traffickingâ€.
