Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador to pay official visit to Azerbaijan

Ecuadorian Foreign Minister will meet Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on October 18.

At the same day Ecuador’s Minister will meet with Azerbaijani businessmen, and with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Elmar Mammadyarov.

According to the Embassy, during the meeting will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation and the formal establishment of diplomatic relations at the highest level. There will also be a number of agreements on the appointment of the Embassy of Ecuador in the Russian Federation with concurrent Embassy of Ecuador in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the mutual abolition of visa regime, the Protocol on Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of trade and economic integration.

The Ecuadorian minister will take part in a meeting with the Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev.

Finally, Ricardo Patino will meet with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, and during meeting will discus world politics.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Integration of the Republic of Ecuador will also visit the major technological and industrial centers of Azerbaijan.
