GUAM Parliamentary Assembly and Baltic Assembly adopt joint resolution

According to APA, vice president of the Baltic Assembly, head of the Latvian delegation Janis Reirs said the resolution called on the international community to support the protection of territorial integrity of GUAM countries.

Chairman of GUAM PA, head of the Moldovan delegation Anatoly Dimitriu informed that GUAM bureau meeting was scheduled to November. â€œWe are planning to meet regularly to discuss the issues necessary for our nationsâ€, Dimitriu said.

Head of the Azerbaijani parliamentâ€™s delegation to GUAM PA Elton Mammadov noted that the Baltic Assembly permanently keeps the â€œfrozenâ€ conflicts on agenda. â€œAzerbaijani side asked the participant countries to investigate the issue of arms deal with Armeniaâ€.

Mammadov said the next joint meeting of the Baltic Assembly and GUAM PA would be held later November. He said GUAM is open-door organization and every country can be represented in this organizationâ€.
