According to APA, the program gives a chance to the Azerbaijani students to live with a host family and attend a US high school for a year. The program is funded by the US State Department.

Matthew Bryza spoke about the FLEX positive contribution to the US-Azerbaijan relations. â€œThe Azerbaijani students will have an opportunity to study in America and become familiar with the United States. It will strengthen our bilateral relationsâ€.

Bryza said FLEX program is forming future leaders of Azerbaijan. Then Bryza met with the persons responsible for the program and young students and became familiar with the state of implemntation of the program.
