Gandja. Aykahn Huseynov â€“ APA. â€œNizami Gandjavi is the worldâ€™s poet. Undoubtedly these are memorable days for me and our delegation. We will never forget our meetings with the residents of Gandja and visit to the Sheikh Nizamiâ€™s mausoleumâ€, Iranâ€™s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Network Sayyid Mohammad Hosseini, who was on a visit to Gandja City of Azerbaijan, told journalists.

He said he was regularly reading Nizami Gandjaviâ€™s poems. â€œWe were happy to visit the mausoleum of Nziami, whose poems we are reading today. Nizami Gandjavi is world-renowned poet. Famous researchers of the world show interest to his works and personality. The worldâ€™s leading scientific research centers are researching his personality. The research work is conducted in the Islamic Republic of Iran too. People in Iran call Nizami the king of poets. Nizamiâ€™s â€œKhamsaâ€ is bestseller in Iran. His works were published in Iran many times and are fondly read by the students and literature-lovers. Nizami Gandjavi is not only poet, but he is a philosopher, thinker, wise and bright man. His works are based on the spiritual treasury of Islam. We hope that after this meeting our peoples will know Nizami more closely. As I know, jubilee events on the occasion of Nizamiâ€™s 870th anniversary are coming up. I will urge the researchers of Nziami works in Iran to attend these eventsâ€.

â€œIt is not correct to restrict great people with boundaries. Nizami Gandjavi is the poet of entire world. Everyone, who supports fairness, peace and justice, should benefit from the works of Nizamo Gandjavi. We consider Sadi Shirazi, Hafiz as the worldâ€™s poets. It is not correct to restrict them with single geographical space. Nizami is a pride of Azerbaijan and he is the poet of not only Azerbaijan, but entire world and everyone should benefit from his rich spiritual treasuryâ€, said Minister Hosseini.
