Baku – APA. Tehran refuted the reports about the statement of Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Hassan Firouzabadi against Azerbaijan. The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Azerbaijan said to APA:
“According to the instructions of Iranian Foreign Minister, the reports about the statement of Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Hassan Firouzabadi are refuted. The mentioned statement has nothing to do with Mr. Hassan Firouzabadi and these reports are the results of the misunderstanding in media,†he said.
Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Bagher Bahrami was summoned to Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the note concerning Hassan Firouzabadi’s statement against Azerbaijan was delivered to him.
