"Slovak companies are also taking part in this new stage of Karabakh's development," President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini said in a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Shusha, APA reports.
"Allow me, on behalf of our delegation, to express my sincere gratitude for the warm welcome extended to us, as well as for your initiative to hold this official visit to Azerbaijan here in Karabakh, in the city of Shusha.
During our previous personal meetings, we repeatedly discussed Karabakh and its future development. Therefore, it is a great honor for me, together with my colleagues in the delegation, to witness firsthand the remarkable progress achieved in the development of this region.
I would like to express my deep respect and admiration for the impressive reconstruction work carried out here within just a few years after liberation. At the same time, we are pleased and proud that Slovak companies are participating in this new stage of Karabakh's development. I am confident they will continue to play an active role in future projects to be implemented in Karabakh," the Slovak president said.
