MP noted that the Assembly Bureau will discuss Azerbaijan’s proposal to hold Euronest PA session in May, 2012 in the Eastern Partnership countries. According to procedure, Azerbaijan proposed to hold the Assembly’s next meeting in Baku. During the voting, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Georgia and Euronest PA’s co-president from the European Parliament Christian Vigen supported the idea to hold the Parliamentary Assembly’s plenary meeting in Azerbaijan. But Armenia and Bureau members from Poland Sariush-Volski and from Romania Traian Ungureanu were against this proposal. Moldova abstained. Due to absence of 2/3 majority of votes, it was decided to discuss the issue during the September session in Strasbourg.
