Moscow, Washington to hold videoconference on Russian-American cooperation in the South Caucasus

Baku. Habil Suleymanzadeh – APA. On Thursday, a videoconference on Russian-American cooperation in the South Caucasus will be held between Moscow and Washington. APA reports quoting RIA-Novosty that American and Russian experts and diplomats will attend the conference to discuss the role of the two countries in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh, Abkhazian and South Ossetian conflicts. They will exchange views on the peace-building potential of the United States and Russia in the South Caucasus and approaching the settlement of the conflicts by the two countries. Former Russian Ambassador to Georgia Felix Stanevskiy, expert of the US Heritage Foundation Ariel Cohen, official of the US State Department Jeffrey Mankoff and others will participate at the Moscow-Washington videoconference, which will be held on the initiative of the pro-Kremlin Valdai International Discussion Club.
