Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulation letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, APA reports. The letter says:
“Esteemed Mr. Secretary General. I congratulate You on the re-election as Secretary General of the United Nations Organization. We attach great importance to the cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the UN, support your organization’s struggle against global challenges, active position on all the issues causing concern of the world community. I hope we will continue our joint activity and efforts towards reaching Millennium Development Goals, establishing peace, security in the world, ensuring human rights and freedoms. Once more I offer my most cordial congratulations to You, wish You good health, happiness and success in your activity.â€
