Ali Hasanov: â€œAzerbaijan is dissatisfied with the activity of the United States in the process of solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflictâ€

We are dissatisfied with the activity of the United States in the process of settlement of Armenia - Azerbaijan conflict. This dissatisfaction is related to the neutral position that the US should demonstrate in the conflict and other issuesâ€, said Chief of Socio-Political Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov, APA reports.

He noted that Azerbaijan had repeatedly raised at different levels the issue of violation of its just position and territorial integrity of the country: "Unfortunately, some institutions and parties do not demonstrate neutrality under the influence of Armenian lobby and openly support Armenia. Without taking into account the aggressive policy pursued by Armenia, exerting pressure on Armenia to give up these actions, the U.S. policy aims to lead Armenia out of the economic difficulty, exerts pressure on the neighboring states, Turkey and others and demands them to assist Armenia, establish socio-economic relations with it.

We think that it does not accord with the mission of the United States, especially with its mission in the OSCE Minsk Group. If the US is really seeking to establish peace in the region, solve conflict, improve economic situation in Armenia, and its inclusion in the regional transnational projects, then let it compel this country to stop its aggressive policy".
