Moscow. Roman Aghayev – APA. “Turkish Prime Minister had useful talks with his Russian counterpart during the visit to Moscow. They made principal decision to create new mechanism for Russia-Turkey high-level consultations. This mechanism should be a high-level Cooperation Councilâ€, said the director of information and press department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Nesterenko at a press conference, APA Moscow correspondent reports. He said first meeting of the Cooperation Council was scheduled to be held during the Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev’s visit to Moscow this year on the occasion of 90th anniversary of the Russia-Turkey diplomatic relations. The foreign ministry official said the sides also discussed the current state of economic-trade relations, topical international and regional problems, prospects of a new architecture of the European security, situation in the South Caucasus as against the background of the normalization of Turkey-Armenia relations, Middle East peace, as well as BSECO cooperation. “The talks focused attention on joint energy projects – South Stream and Blue Stream-2 gas pipelines, Samsun-Ceyhan oil pipeline and construction of nuclear power station in Turkey. Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz and Russian Vice Prime Minister Igor Sechin signed a declaration about cooperation on the construction of nuclear power station in Turkeyâ€.
