Mahmud Mammadguliyev: “I believe Euronest will be advantageous for Azerbaijan†– EXCLUSIVE

The Deputy Minister stressed that it would be an event organized by the European Parliament where Azerbaijan is represented by the delegation headed by vise speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Valeh Alasgarov. I suppose one of the members of this delegation will attend the meetingâ€.
Mammadguliyev said Euronest would be established at the meeting on January 14. “Representatives of the European Parliament and 10 parliamentarians from each of six Eastern Partnership member-countries will attend the meeting. They will meet regularly and discuss cooperation between the parliaments in the field of lawmakingâ€.

On January 14, the working group for establishing the Eastern Partnership Parliamentary Assembly (Euronest) will hold its first meeting. According to APA, British, Spanish, Lithuanian, Polish and Swedish representatives, as well as delegations from the partner countries will attend the meeting. They will discuss the documents prepared by the Council of Europe and proposals by the partner countries. 60 members of the European Parliament, 10 representatives from each of six partner countries will enter the Euronest.
