Working Group for establishing Eastern Partnership Parliamentary Assembly to hold first meeting

Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. On January 14, the working group for establishing the Eastern Partnership Parliamentary Assembly (Euronest) will hold its first meeting. According to APA, British, Spanish, Lithuanian, Polish and Swedish representatives, as well as delegations from the partner countries will attend the meeting. They will discuss the documents prepared by the Council of Europe and proposals by the partner countries. 60 members of the European Parliament, 10 representatives from each of six partner countries will enter the Euronest.

The working group for establishing the Eastern Partnership Parliamentary Assembly (Euronest) was formed in Stockholm, on October 23, 2009. The group should elaborate the principles and working mechanism of the assembly within six months.
