TUSIAB issues statement on reports about the opening of Turkish-Armenian borders

Baku â€“APA. â€œAzerbaijan-Turkish International Industrialists and Business Society (TUSIAB), established in 1994 with national leader Heydar Aliyevâ€™s blessing, is always following developments in the region. TUSIAB knows the Azerbaijanâ€™s sensibility in this issue and accepts it. TUSIAB considers it acceptable to hold mutual dialogues within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan as a factor that canâ€™t be foregoneâ€, TUSIAB said in its statement issued on reports about the opening of Turkish-Armenian borders, TUSIAB told APA.
â€œTurkish President Abdullah Gul said that it was important at first to solve conflicts in the South Caucasus, particularly the Karabakh problem, for the fundamental solution of the regional problems and at the same time Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that it was impossible for Turkey to make rational decision on Armenia without solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict. It shows the position of Turkish government officialsâ€, said TUSIAB. â€œWe witnessed that the political course of President Ilham Aliyev, national leader Heydar Aliyevâ€™s worthy successor, could find the most useful solution to such problematic issues for many times. We are hopeful that this issue will be resolved within the interests of two fraternal countries, which have ancient rootsâ€, TUSIAB said in its statement.
