Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev –APA. Speaker of Milli Majlis, the Azerbaijani parliament Ogtay Asadov received EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby. Press service of the parliament told APA the speaker said Azerbaijan took the way of integration into the Euro-Atlantic space and gave a great importance to deepening of cooperation with the European Union and its institutions. The speaker spoke about the work done within the EU New Neighborhood Policy Program and emphasized the good relations between the European Parliament and Azerbaijani Milli Majlis.
Peter Semneby said there were large opportunities within the Eastern Partnership Program for the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
