Galatasaray appealed to CAS, APA reports.
Turkish club asked for the reversal of FIFA’s decision regarding ex-footballer Younes Belhanda.
The Moroccan attacking midfielder appealed to FIFA over his removal from the team in March of previous year and was and FIFA considered him right.
Although FIFA demands Galatasaray to pay football player’s wages which were intended until the end of his contract, Istanbul disagrees. The 160-paged defense document appealed to CAS states that Belhanda is unfair.
Note that Younes Belhanda had 131 matches in Galatasaray during 2017-2018 and was remembered with 22 goals and 26 assists.
