State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that the decline is caused by decrease in production of construction and transport products and services relevantly by 35.5% and 14.2% compared to previous year. At the same time, the value added rose 11% in information and communication fields, 3.5% in each of agriculture, forestry and fishery, tourist accommodation and catering services, 2.7% in trade, repair of transport vehicles, 2.6% in processing.
39.5% of the value added was formed in industry, 12.8% in trade, repair of transport vehicles, 8.7% in construction, 6.6% in transport and storehouse, 3.1% in tourist accommodation and catering services, 3.1% in industry, forestry and fishery, 2% in information and communication, and 16.3% in other spheres.
New taxes to product and import made 7.9% of GDP. GDP per capita amounted to AZN 1,756.7.
