According to State Statistical Committee, 99.9% of consumer products were sold by non-state entities, including 11.1% by legal entities. Retail trade turnover on non-state sector exceeded 2015’s level 3.4% to AZN 6,785.9 mln.
Per consumer bought AZN 235.9-goods, up AZN 33.5 from 2015.
Retail sale of food products, tobacco and drinks in 2016 exceeded 2015’s level 4.8% and reached 3,429.9 mln, non-food products rose 1.9% to AZN 3,363.5 mln.
Per consumer purchased AZN 119.1-food products, drinks and tobacco products, AZN 116.8 – non-food products per month.
