World Bank: Azerbaijani economy to grow by 2.9% on average in 2022-2023

World Bank expects the Azerbaijani economy to grow by 3.1% in real terms this year. It is 0.8% less in comparison with the outlook of July of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing an updated regional report of the Bank.

A growth of 2.7% is forecasted in 2023, which is 0.7% less in comparison with the previous forecast.

Thus, average growth rate of the country economy is supposed to be 2.9% in 2022-2023. The outlook considers pandemic will remain under control and vaccination will continue with the current tempo.
