The banking sector of Azerbaijan made a net profit of 859.4 million manats in January-October of this year, APA-Economics reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This figure is 40% more than the same period last year.
During this period, banks' operating income increased by 31.7% to 3,548.1 million manats, operating expenses increased by 27.6% to 2,265.2 million manats, operating profit increased by 39.7% to 1,239.3 million manats, allocation to special reserves increased by 22,8% to 183 million manats.
