US stocks regained ground at the close to pull out a win after three straight days of losses, APA-Economics reports.
At 4pm on December 20, the S&P 500 was up 0.1% at 3,822, the Dow reached 32,850 for a 0.3% gain, and the Nasdaq was flat at 10,547.
In Europe the FTSE 100 was flat most of the day but closed higher, gaining 0.27% to 7,381, while the CACin Paris slipped 0.18% to 6,461 points. In Germany, the DAX retreated 0.31% to 13,899.
