Import of raw materials is exempted from customs duties for residents of Azerbaijan’s liberated areas, according to the amendment proposed to the law on Customs duty discussed at the meeting of the Milli Majlis held today, APA reports.
The draft law envisages exemption from customs duties for the import of raw materials and materials for production activities by residents of territories freed from occupation registered for the purposes of VAT for a period of 10 years from January 1, 2023.
The list of those raw materials and materials will be approved by the relevant executive authority.
The draft law was adopted in the third reading after the discussions.
