The period of concessions and exemptions for the Baku Shipyard is being extended, APA reports.
This is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Tax Code, which was submitted for discussion at today’s session of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament).
At the same time, the period of exemption from payment of customs duties on the import of goods for the activities of the Plant, as a resident engaged in shipbuilding activities of the Garadagh Industrial Park, will be extended until 2030, in accordance with the proposed amendment to the Law "On Customs Tariff".
Following the discussions, the draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
