Azerbaijan posts $5.3 billion gap on balance-of-payment revenue

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. The total turnover of receipts and payments on Azerbaijan 2008balance-of-payment revenue was $6 456.259 million.
Of this, 90.8% or $5 861.154 million was payments from Azerbaijan as repatriation of dividends to foreign investors (in the form of crude oil) by Azerbaijan International Operating Company ($5 billion), salary of nonresidents ($168.3 million) and interests on foreign loans ($280.5 million).
$595.105 million came to the country as income. Of this, $283.9 million was added to assets of the State Oil Fund, $163.4 million to foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, and $26.2 million was interests accrued on banksâ€™ assets abroad.
The negative balance of revenue of the balance of payment was $5.266 billion.
