Azerbaijan posts 19% year-on-year rise in per capita income

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-ECONOMICS. The total income earned by Azerbaijani population during January-February stood at AZN 3.1 billion, said the State Statistical Committee.
The top body said earnings per capita rose by 19.4% to AZN 356.1 for the two months or AZN 178.1 per month on averagr.
Of this, people used 75% for consumption expenses, 10.8% for taxes, social insurance and voluntary membership dues and 14.2% for increasing savings and capitals. The populationâ€™s net income after taxes, compulsory charges and voluntary membership dues stood at AZN 2.7 billion in total, up 21.6 on a year earlier.
