Azerbaijan reports 2008 state budget surplus at AZN 82.8 million

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s 2008 state budget revenue was AZN 10 762.7 million, up 79.2% from a year ago and up 2.7% from the forecast, said a government report.
According to the report, budget receipts came from the Ministry of Tax (AZN 5 695.4 million or 53.9% of the total receipts), State Customs Committee (AZN 1 110.4 million or 10.3%), State Oil Fund (AZN 3 800 or 35.3%), extrabudgetary incomes of the budget-funded organizations (AZN 101.7 million or 0.9%), other sources (AZN 50.4 million or 0.5%) and State Property Management Committee (AZN 4.8 million or 0.1%).
