Amrahbank achieves 2% growth in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of March 1, Azerbaijan-based Amrahbankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 63.688 million, up 2.1% on January 1, 2009.
The bank said loan portfolio rose by 1.5% to AZN 40.182 million, deposit portfolio increased by 2.1% to AZN 33.380 million, total capital grew by 1.9% to AZN 22.195 million and authorized capital stood at AZN 12.821 million.
For January-February, revenue reached AZN 1.867 million and expenditures stood at AZN 1.579 million. The bankâ€™s two-month profit made AZN 0.288 million.
Owned by 5 individuals, Amrahbank has been in operation since 1993.
The bank operates 22 branches, 2 bureaus of exchange, 12 ATMs and 34 POS terminals.
