11% of cashless dollar transactions carried on exchange in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. The amount of cashless dollar transactions totaled AZN 22 692 411 700 in Azerbaijanâ€™s domestic currency market during 2008, said the National Bank of Azerbaijan.
Of this, 72.7% was intrabank exchange operations, 16.5% was open interbank currency market and 10.8% on Baku Interbank Currency Exchange.
These shares were 73%, 14.4% and 12.6% in 2007.
Compoared to a year ago, cashles collar market grew by 60.4%, intrabank exchange operations by 59.5%, open interbank currency market by 83.2% and operations on the currency exchange by 38.7%.
