World Bank more than doubles investment in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The fixed investments in Azerbaijan by the World Bank (WB) was AZN 47 193 200, up 147.6% on a year ago, said the State Statistical Committee.
The WP investment accounted for 2.1% of fixed capital investments in Azerbaijan by foreign countries and international organizations.
Azerbaijan joined the World Bank in 1992. Since then, the WB has provided $2 billion financial assistance to Azerbaijan.
