Bank Avrasiya gets 155 times rise in loan portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, Azerbaijan-based Bank Avrasiyaâ€™s assets stood at AZN 45.171 million, up 76.7% on a year ago.
Loan portfolio jumped 155 times to AZN 27.074 million, deposit portfolio increased by 3.8 times to AZN 20.857million, total capital rose 2.6% to AZN 20.434 million and authorized capital reached AZN 20 million.
Consumer loans grew 31.1 times to AZN 5.631 million.
Revenues for 2008 rose 28.9 times AZN 5.687 and expenditures increased 25.9 times to AZN 5.599 million.
The bankâ€™s profit reached AZN 88 400.
The number of employees rose 78.3% to 41.
The bank operates 1 exchange office, 1 ATM, 16 POS terminals across the country.
Bank Avrasiya launched operation in November, 2007.
