Foreign fixed capital investment in Azerbaijan declines 16%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. As against a year ago, foreign fixed capital investment dropped by 16.3% in Azerbaijan during 2008, said the State Statistical Committee.
The top body said the amount of foreign investment in fixed capital reached AZN 2 224.7 million.
Of this, AZN 2 061.9 million or 92.7% was made by British, U.S., Japanese, Norwegian, Turkish, Korean, Czech and German investors.
