AccessBank opens a new branch in Jalilabad

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based AccessBank has opened a new branch in Jalilabad, a town located in the south of Azerbaijan, bringing the number of its branches to 21.
Each year AccessBank’s branch network expands to cover more regions of Azerbaijan. With this continual expansion, the bank offers people living outside of the capital full access to banking products and, in particular, supports business development in the regions, which is one of the main objectives of AccessBank’s shareholders.
The new Jalilabad branch provides a full range of services for legal entities and individuals, including international money transferring systems, current and deposit accounts, VISA plastic cards as well as disbursement of small business and retail loans.
Rahman Aliyev, an experienced AccessBank employee, has been appointed as the Branch Manager of the new Jalilabad branch, after having successfully passed the National Bank of Azerbaijan’s certification.
AccessBank is the highest rated private bank in Azerbaijan (BB+ Fitch Ratngs) and is 100% foreign owned by six shareholders, including the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation, the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, KfW Development Bank – the Development Bank of the German Government (20% each), Access Microfinance Holding – a strategic microfinance investor (16.5%), and LFS Financial Systems – a German consulting company (3.5%).
