Azerbaijanâ€™s state budget spending was AZN 1 billion in past two months

Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijani state budget revenue and expenditure for 2008 was AZN 10 763 million and AZN 10 680 million respectively with an AZN 83 million surplus.
The Ministry of Finance said the budget revenue and expenditure were AZN 8 736.3 million and AZN 7 598.4 for January-October with an AZN 1 137.9 million surplus.
So, 93% of the budget surplus was spent during the past two months.
Given that average monthly budgetary expenditures during January-October was AZN 759.8 million, the figure reached AZN 890 million at the end of the year.
At the same time, the revenue also rose to AZN 896.9 million in the past two months from AZN 873.6 million during ten months.
