World Bank Director for South Caucasus will visit Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The World Bank has appointed Asad Alam as new Country Director for the South Caucasus Country Unit.
The WB Office in Baku said in this position he will replace Mrs. Dowsett-Coirolo who has retired.
Mr. Asad Alam will travel to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia for familiarization in January-February.
Prior to this, he had been a sector manager for South Caucasus.
Mrs. Dowsett-Coirolo assumed her new responsibilities as Country Director for the South Caucasus Country Unit, Europe and Central Asia Region in 2002.
