AtaLeasing raises leasing portfolio by 41% in 2008

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As January 1, Azerbaijan-based AtaLeasingâ€™s assets stood at AZN 3.510 million, up 40.5 on a year earlier.
The company said the number of leasing agreements increased 24% to 93, total capital went up 12.2% to AZN 1.266 million, leased equipment increased 44.8% to AZN 4.560 million in value and investment in the economy rose 11% to AZN 2.925 million.
Net profit the full year of 2008 increased 89.3% to AZN 341 278 and authorized capital stood at AZN 1 million. AtaLeasing, as part of AtaHolding, has been in operation since 2004.
