A-Group insurance company gets 12% rise in premiums

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s A-Group Insurance Company earned AZN 7.766 million in premiums during 2008, up 12% on a year ago.
Anar Bayramov, Chairman of the Board, said the premiums growth rate was 3% below the prediction.
The company paid AZN 3.33 million for insurance claims, a two-fold decline year-on-year.
Established by a number of local individuals, A-Group Insurance Company has been in operation since 1995.
The company provides 14 voluntary and 4 compulsory types of insurance services. As of January 1, its authprized capital was AZN 1.550 million.
