International Insurance Company to open a new provincial branch

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s International Insurance Company will open a branch in Lenkeran early next year.
Ilham Aghayev, deputy chairman of the company, said the branch had been planned for opening this year, but postponed until January, 2009 due to some organizational issues, such as establishment of new provincial branches.
The insurer has 4 branches, including 2 in Sheki and Gandja.
International Insurance Company, owned by International Bank of Azerbaijan, has been in operation since 2002.
The company earned AZN 9.35 million in premiums, paid AZN 1 million for insurance claims during January-June this year.
The company provides 29 voluntary and 4 compulsory types of insurance service
