Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa is expected to visit Ankara on the eve of the NATO summit hosted by Türkiye or during the days of the summit itself, Bloomberg reports, citing its sources.
Turkish officials are actively working to ensure that Ahmed al-Sharaa, together with other Arab leaders, participates in events during the NATO summit scheduled for July 7-8.
In addition, a possible bilateral meeting between al-Sharaa and U.S. President Donald Trump is also being considered on the sidelines of the summit.
