Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has started talking about resuming negotiations with Ukraine, according to Russian media, RBK-Ukraine reports.
“Russia is ready to resume negotiations with Ukraine from the point where they were stopped,” Lavrov said.
He also stated that the negotiations in Alaska could have been designed to “buy time" to arm the Ukrainian army.
Lavrov added that the EU is “pouring” money and weapons into Ukraine.
Lavrov also did not spare criticism of the United States. He accused the Trump administration of tightening sanctions, and that all statements after the Alaska talks were forgotten.
“Besides the continuation of all Biden-era sanctions, a considerable package of sanctions by the Trump administration against Russia has already been adopted,” he said.
