Per capita income rises 34% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The total income earned by Azerbaijani population stood at AZN 12 709.5 million in January-August.
The State Statistical Committee said earnings per capita on month reached AZN 186 on average.
Average income per person for the eight months in total made AZN 1 488.1, up 33.8% from the same period last year.
Of this, people used 66% for consumption expenses, 9.1% for taxes, social insurance and voluntary membership dues and 24.9% for increasing savings and capitals. The populationâ€™s net income after taxes, compulsory charges and voluntary membership dues stood at AZN 11 559.22 million in total, up 36.5 on a year earlier.
