Mikayil Jabbarov: Azerbaijan wonâ€™t see liquidity problem

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The negative trends occurring now in the global economy may open some opportunities for Azerbaijan, said Mikayil Jabbarov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development.
According to him, despite the crisis in the world financial market, the economy of Azerbaijan is stable.
â€œAzerbaijan is making foreign investments. The crisis is the best opportunity to penetrate the market because prices are at low at this time. Tensions in the world financial market could affect the cost of attracting foreign investment. Since exports exceed imports in Azerbaijan, the country can not be faced the problem of liquidity,â€ he noted.
He added that turbulence in world l markets will continue.
Â«A few days ago, the dollar strengthened against the euro. We saw reverse process yesterday. Predicting anything now would be inappropriate. We ought to watch and wait,â€ he underlined.
