ADB may make available loans to three Azeri banks

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Asian Development Bank (ADB) may make available loans to three Azeri banks to support financing of small and medium-sized enterprises and trade in the country, said the ADB Office in Baku.
The loans are likely to be extended to Bank Standard, UniBank and Technikabank.
“Loan agreements with these commercial banks may be signed in late September. It has not been specialized yet how much will be lent to each,†said the ADB Office.
The ADB allocated a $10 million subordinated loan to Bank Respublika, $6 million to Bank of Baku and $40 million to International bank of Azerbaijan.
