Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. The National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) didn’t instructed commercial banks to limit loan lending consumer loans because banks are free to choose what to do, Elman Rustamov, the Chariman of the NBA), told APA-Economics.
He rebuffed rumors that the central bank ordered banks to constrain loaning.
“Maybe, some banks have a pause in lending during the period of repaying loans borrowed from foreign sources,†he added.
