No direct dialogue has taken place with the U.S. side after our decision to suspend the four-party talks, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said at a briefing, APA reports.
“Talks between Iran and the United States, conducted through two mediators, began at 3 p.m. and lasted for about an hour and a half. It was decided that the negotiations would resume after a half-hour break. During that break, we heard threatening statements from U.S. officials. Therefore, the four-party dialogue did not take place afterward, and the negotiations continued through the exchange of messages via mediators,” Baghaei said.
According to him, no direct contact with the United States took place after Iran decided to suspend the four-party talks.
