Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. The National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) recommends commercial banks to be careful with lending consumer loans, Elman Rustamov, the Chariman of the NBA), told APA-Economics.
He added that consumer loans are higher risky.
Consumer loans account for 36.4% of the total loan books of the commercial banks at present.
He added that diversification of loans is very urgent now.
According to him, the banks should reduce consumer loans lending to manage risks and this will not increase liquidity.
