Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. Amount of cash dollar sold by population via commercial banks made $ 5,113 mln, in January-July, 2012, up 69.1% compared with a year ago.
Population’s purchase cash dollar from banks made $ 1,596 mln, up 67.3% from year early, Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA.
So, population’s cash dollar purchase exceeded sale by 3.2 times.
Note that, last year, population purchased average $536.8 mln and sold 162.2 mln.
