Ganjabank increases loan portfolio by 37% year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2012, assets of Ganjabank stood at AZN 51.148 mln, up 13% from a year earlier.

During the reporting period, loan portfolio of the bank rose 37% to AZN 41.324 mln, short-term loans grew by 11% to AZN 1.452 mln, long-term loans soared 38.395 to AZN 39.871 mln, consumer loans increased by 12% to AZN 1.238 mln, overdue credits rose 63% to AZN 5.054 mln.

Deposit portfolio dropped 5% to AZN 5.107 mln, term deposits rose 0.54% to AZN 4.984 mln, demand deposits decreased by 90% to AZN 26.580 mln, population deposits declined 12.54% to AZN 95.930 mln. Total capital slipped 13% to AZN 14.344 mln, authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 15 mln.

Number customers rose 22% to AZN 3,520, number of individuals rose 22% to 3,032, legal entities increased by 20% to 488. Number of active plastic cards grew by 10% to 669, average monthly salary declined 15% to AZN 324.

Ganjabank has been in operation since 1994. It has 3 branches, 6 ATMs and 16 POS-terminals across the country.
