Construction sector lending increases in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2012, the volume of loans allocated in construction and purchase of real estate by commercial banks operating in Azerbaijan made AZN 620 mln, up AZN 217.1 mln or 53.9% compared to last year, CBA told APA.

At the same time, the volume of loans allocated for construction and purchase grew by AZN 44.2 mln or 7.7% since the beginning of the year.

The share of these loans in total loan portfolio made 6%.
