Kapital Bank sees 7% rise I Q1 assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2012, Azerbaijan-based Kapital Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 226.928 mln, up 70% from year earlier.

Bank says loan portfolio doubled to AZN 832.619 mln, deposit portfolio soared 55% to AZN 419.481 mln, as well populationâ€™s deposits surged 31% to AZN 273.970 mln.

Total capital increased by 21% to AZN 86.918 mln, as well authorized capital grew 33.3% to AZN 40 mln. Incomes advanced 21% to AZN 24.527 mln, including interest incomes climbed 36% to AZN 15.455 mln, non-interest incomes soared 2.8% to AZN 9.072 mln. Consequently, net profit decreased by 2.2 times to AZN 1.763 mln.

Remind that, Kapital Bank has been in operation since 2000. The bank operates 89 branches 425 ATMs and 506 POS-terminals across the country.
